Med Dara Oken

Dara Oken, MEd, currently serves as a Learning Experience Designer at the American Society for Clinical Pathology since September 2021. Previously, Dara worked at Articulation LLC from August 2014 to September 2021 as a Pronunciation Modification Trainer and Curriculum Developer, where targeted training materials for international medical graduates were developed and published by Thieme© in 2020. From January 2005 to August 2021, Dara was an ELL Teacher and Curriculum Developer at the Minneapolis Center for Adult Learning, focusing on coherent instruction and measurable competency activities. Additionally, between January 2011 and April 2014, Dara was a Virtual Pronunciation Instructor and Curriculum Developer for Deloitte executives, leading multiple successful training cohorts. Early in the career, Dara contributed as a Teacher and Program Developer at Hennepin County Library's Minneapolis Adult Education, developing an Advanced Speaking & Listening Program that served over 350 learners. Educational qualifications include a Master of Education in ESL from the University of Minnesota.
