Brandon Mar has a diverse range of work experience. Brandon is currently serving as the Vice President Internal at the American Society of Agricultural and Biological Engineers. Brandon is also an Undergraduate Researcher at Purdue University, working in Dr. Philip Low's Lab on various projects related to drug purification, synthesis, and imaging. In addition, Brandon holds leadership roles as the Co-President of Purdue Medical Innovation, Networking, and Design, and as a Student Advisory Board Member for the City of Huntington Woods. Brandon is also the owner and photographer at Brandon Mar Photo. Furthermore, they have gained industry experience as a Business/Operational Excellence Biotech Intern at Takeda and as a Manufacturing and Safety Engineer at Robert Weed. Brandon has also worked as an Undergraduate Student Researcher at the Howard Hughes Medical Institute.
Brandon Mar completed their Bachelor of Engineering (BE) degree in Bioengineering Engineering with a concentration in Cellular and Molecular Engineering from Purdue University. Brandon attended Purdue University from 2021 to 2025. Before that, they obtained their High School Diploma with Summa Cum Laude honors from Berkley High School during the period from 2017 to 2021. Additionally, they have acquired several certifications including Project Management Foundations from the Project Management Institute in August 2023, Process Improvement Foundations from the National Association of State Boards of Accountancy (NASBA) in June 2023, and Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt (ICYB) from Robert Weed in June 2022.
