Joseph Szokol

Joseph Szokol has a diverse work experience in the field of medicine. Joseph currently serves as the Executive Director of Mentorship and Physician Development at the Keck School of Medicine, starting in April 2021. Prior to this, they held the position of Chief Health Policy Officer at the American Society of Anesthesiologists from November 2019. Joseph also worked at the NorthShore University HealthSystem for a significant portion of their career. In this organization, they served as the Chairman and Harris Family Foundation Chairman of Anesthesiology from October 2015 to December 2020. Before that, they held the role of Vice Chairman in the Department of Anesthesiology from July 2000 to September 2015.
