Dana Compton

Dana Compton, CAE, ENV SP, currently serves as the Managing Director of Publications & Standards and Publisher at the American Society of Civil Engineers since October 2018. In this role, Dana leads the Publications Division, overseeing a portfolio of 35 journals and various books including conference proceedings, technical reports, and standards. Previous experience includes positions as Managing Director and Publisher, and Editorial Director at KWFCO from August 2015 to September 2018, and as Senior Consulting Associate at the National Academy of Sciences from April 2007 to August 2015. Dana also held roles as Publication Director and Production Manager at the American Society of Clinical Oncology from October 2002 to April 2007, and as Print Buyer at Thompson Publishing Group from June 2001 to October 2002. Dana holds a degree from the University of Virginia.
