Emily Cahill is an experienced leader in clinical quality improvement with a robust background in healthcare management and policy. Currently serving as Deputy Director for Clinical Quality Improvement at the American Society of Hematology since February 2017, Emily has been pivotal in developing clinical quality measures and resources in collaboration with clinical experts and patients. Previous roles include Senior Manager and Manager of Quality Improvement Implementation at ASH, where innovative strategies were developed to enhance the dissemination and adoption of clinical practice guidelines. Prior to ASH, Emily held significant positions at the Association of American Medical Colleges, including Lead Specialist in Implementation Research and Policy and Director & Managing Editor of MedEdPORTAL, focusing on enhancing educational tools for healthcare professionals. Emily holds a Master of Public Health from Drexel University and a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Villanova University.
