Nancy Eckardt

Nancy Eckardt is an experienced professional in plant biology, currently serving as the Senior Features Editor for *The Plant Cell* at the American Society of Plant Biologists since September 2000. Eckardt has a strong academic background, holding a Ph.D. in Plant Physiology from Penn State University, alongside an M.S. in Botany from the University of Minnesota and a B.A. in Biology with a focus on Environmental Studies from Lawrence University. Prior to the current role, Eckardt worked as a Post-doctoral Research Associate at prominent institutions, including Penn State University, Oxford University Department of Plant Sciences, and the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, from 1994 to 2000.
