Peggy Pissarreck has extensive experience in governance and compliance roles. Peggy began their career at the American Bar Association as an Associate Director, where they provided leadership and guidance to the competitions committee and facilitated legal skills training for law students. Peggy then moved on to the American Society of Plastic Surgeons (ASPS), where they held various positions such as Governance Project Manager, Compliance Project Manager, and Senior Manager, providing strategic direction and counsel to staff and volunteers in matters of governance and compliance. Peggy also served as a Board Member for the Meeting Professionals International Chicago Area Chapter and founded their own meeting and event planning company, Emerald Pearl Meeting & Event Planners, LLC. Prior to that, they worked at the Paper Industry Management Association (PIMA) as a Manager of Meetings and Conferences, overseeing the production of multiple conferences and managing site selections.
Peggy Pissarreck holds a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration and Management, General from the University of Missouri-Kansas City. Additionally, they obtained a certification as a Certified Meeting Professional from the Convention Industry Council in 2003.
