Molly Steenson

Molly Steenson's work experience includes serving as the President & Chief Executive Officer at the American Swedish Institute. Molly was also an Associate Professor at Carnegie Mellon University, where they held various roles such as Vice Provost for Faculty and Senior Associate Dean for Research in the College of Fine Arts. Additionally, they served as Chair of Interaction Awards at IxDA and as an Assistant Professor at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Before that, Molly worked as a strategist and researcher at Girlwonder Productions and as an adjunct faculty & thesis advisor at Art Center College of Design. Molly also gained experience as a visiting researcher at HUMlab, Umeå University and as a graduate research intern at Microsoft Research India. Molly Steenson has a background in interaction design, social computing, and service design, with expertise in ethics and computational technologies.

Molly Steenson's education history includes a PhD in Architecture from Princeton University. Molly also holds a Master's degree from Yale University, specializing in the field of Master's of Environmental Design, which focused on architectural theory, history, and criticism. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor of Arts in German Language and Literature at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Molly later returned to Yale University to pursue a Master of Environmental Design degree, emphasizing in architectural history and theory, during the years 2005 to 2007.
