Don Smitherman

Don Smitherman has extensive experience in project management and estimation within the tank and vessel industry, currently serving as a Project Manager/Estimator at American Tank & Vessel, Inc. since May 2008. Prior roles at American Tank & Vessel included Assistant Project Manager/Estimator and Junior Estimator/Drafting, focusing on the design and repair of API-650 and API-620 tanks according to API-653 standards. Previously, Don held several positions at Southern Tank and Repair from May 1994 to April 2008, including Project Manager and Project Estimator, where responsibilities included overseeing job operations, estimating construction projects, and maintaining customer relations. Additional experience includes roles as Shop/Field Foreman and Steel Fabricator, demonstrating a solid foundation in technical skills and safety training. Don is a graduate of Grand Bay High School.
