Patrick P. Barry

Patrick P. Barry, P.E. is an accomplished engineering professional with extensive experience in the telecommunications and civil engineering sectors. Currently serving as Director of Specialty Engineering at American Tower since February 2014, Barry leads a team that supports innovation in complex civil and building engineering, including the introduction of Building Information Modeling (BIM) for asset management. Previously, as Director of Architectural Engineering, Barry managed design standards for a vast portfolio of telecommunications facilities across the United States. Prior roles include Senior Associate at Dewberry Engineers Inc., where Barry directed telecommunications engineering projects, and Project Manager at Coler & Colantonio, overseeing wireless PCS facility designs. Barry began the career as an Environmental Engineer at Handex of New England, focusing on hazardous material treatment systems.
