Chris D.

Chris D. has a diverse work experience in the veterinary field. Chris started their career in 2011 as a Research Assistant at the Ontario Veterinary Medical Association. Chris then worked as an Associate Veterinarian at Brookville Veterinary Clinic and Wingrove Veterinary Hospital. In 2014, Chris became a Locum Veterinarian at Companion Animal Veterinary Hospitals. Chris also served as the Manager of Economic Research at the Ontario Veterinary Medical Association until 2023. Currently, Chris is working as the Assistant Director of Strategic Business Research and Outreach at the AVMA (American Veterinary Medical Association).

Chris D. has an education history that includes a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Guelph, with a field of study in General Science, from 2006 to 2009. Subsequently, from 2009 to 2013, they attended the Ontario Veterinary College at the University of Guelph, earning a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree. In 2017, Chris D. briefly attended Colorado State University to participate in the AAHA CSU Veterinary Management Institute, focusing on veterinary management. In 2019, they enrolled at the Chartered Business Valuators Institute (CBV Institute) for the Chartered Business Valuator (CBV) Program of Study, which they completed in 2020. Currently, Chris D. is pursuing a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from the DeGroote School of Business at McMaster University, with an expected completion date in 2023.
