Cynthia Horner

Cynthia Horner, M.D. FAAFP, is the Chief Medical Officer at Amwell, where responsibilities include strategic oversight of all clinical offerings and serving as a prominent physician leader. With extensive experience in clinical management, Dr. Horner has held various leadership roles within Amwell, including Vice President and Head of General Medicine and Quality, focusing on the implementation of clinical strategies and quality improvement across diverse healthcare programs. Prior to Amwell, Dr. Horner provided outpatient and inpatient care in family medicine practices and contributed to health-related initiatives in Sierra Leone. An alumna of Duke University and Virginia Commonwealth University, Dr. Horner has a strong educational background in medicine and family medicine.
