Sandra Dickson

Sandra Dickson has a diverse work experience spanning several industries and roles. In their most recent position at Americares, they served as the Vice President of Strategy, focusing on cultivating innovation and exploring new approaches to social impact. Prior to that, Sandra held the role of Senior Director of Strategy & Innovation at Americares, where they led the build-out of Innovate@Americares. Sandra has also served as a Member of the Board of Trustees for the Gestalt Pastoral Care Association and as a member of the Board of Directors for the CT, MA, RI United Church of Christ and the CT United Church of Christ. Before their non-profit work, Sandra worked as a Business Strategy Partner and Principal at Essential Elements Consulting LLC, where they worked with businesses to set strategies for success and facilitate organizational alignment. Sandra also has experience in the insurance industry, holding leadership roles at The Hartford and Travelers. Sandra began their career at Aetna, where they held various positions, including Head of Growth Relationships for National Accounts Innovation & Adjacencies and Department Head of Learning & Performance. Overall, Sandra's experience demonstrates their expertise in strategy, innovation, leadership development, and performance improvement.

Sandra Dickson has a Bachelor of Science degree in Management from Bentley University and a Master of Education degree in Counseling Psychology from Central CT University.
