Ash Hanson

Ash Hanson is Executive Vice President & Chief Human Resources Officer for AmeriHealth Caritas.

In her role as EVP, Chief Human Resources Officer, Hanson oversees associate relations, learning, development, benefits, and recruiting for AmeriHealth Caritas’ associates nationwide. Hanson's role at AmeriHealth Caritas leverages her strengths and expertise in Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI); leadership development; talent acquisition and management; strategic change management; learning strategies; and organizational effectiveness.

Prior to joining AmeriHealth Caritas, she spent 20 years in human resources and DEI leadership roles at Aramark. She also led the company’s Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) strategy.

Hanson is a graduate of the University of Madras in India, where she earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in English literature. She also attended Columbia University’s Teacher’s College to become a certified coaching professional.

Hanson currently serves on the board of directors for The Food Trust, a nonprofit organization based in Philadelphia that works to improve the health of children and adults through providing better nutrition.
