Tom Wehrle has a range of experience in information security and risk management. Tom started their career at the Air Force Office of Special Investigations as a Special Agent and Computer Crimes Investigator, where they worked from October 2002 to July 2019. In 2015, they joined AmeriHealth Caritas as the Director of Technical Risk Management and then progressed to the position of Deputy Chief Information Security Officer. Currently, Tom holds the role of Vice President and Chief Information Security Officer at AmeriHealth Caritas.
Tom Wehrle received their Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Computer Science from the University of Pittsburgh in the years 1990 to 1994. Following that, they obtained a Master of Science (MS) degree from Air University in 1994. In addition to their degrees, they also hold several certifications, including EC-Council's Certified Chief Information Security Officer, GIAC Information Security Professional (GISP), Certified Network Intrusion Forensics Examiner, Certified Computer Crimes Investigator, and Project Management Professional. The years of attainment for these certifications vary.
