John Chan

John Chan has extensive experience in the financial services sector, specializing in capital markets, product management, and data science. Currently serving in the Capital Markets Strategy at AmeriHome Mortgage Company, LLC since October 2021, Chan manages the pricing, hedging, and pooling of mortgages, facilitating over $3 billion monthly to GSEs. Previously, at PennyMac Loan Services, LLC, Chan held the position of First Vice President in Product & Pricing Strategy, where John built a data science team and launched a project that generated $2 million in additional annual profit. Prior experience at Bank of America includes roles as SVP/Director of Corporate Investments Financial Manager and Vice President of Assignment of Trade Group Manager, where Chan directed mortgage credit guidelines, developed competitive dashboards, and drove revenue through effective margin management. John Chan holds an MBA in Marketing and Finance from USC Marshall School of Business and a BA in Economics/Mathematics from UC Santa Barbara.
