Rich Carpenter

Director Of Flight Operations Compliance And Special Projects at Amerijet International

Rich Carpenter has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Rich began their career at Singer - Link Division in 1977, where they served as an Engineer in Charge for P3C ASW Programs. Rich then joined Hamilton Standard in 1982 as a Project Engineer, managing the design and production phases of various projects. In 1984, Carpenter became a Partner at the American Medical and Aeronautical Institute. Rich later worked for Carnival Air Lines from 1987 to 1997, holding the position of Assistant Vice President Flight Operations and overseeing all aspects of flight operations. Carpenter then joined Arrow Air in 1998 as the Director of Training, responsible for creating and administering training programs. Since 2001, they have held leadership positions at Amerijet International, including Director of Safety, Vice President of Safety and Special Projects, and currently, Director of Flight Operations Compliance and Special Projects. Throughout their career, Carpenter has demonstrated expertise in safety management systems, aviation security, and compliance.

Rich Carpenter completed a Certificate Program in Aviation Safety and Security at the University of Southern California Viterbi School of Engineering from 2013 to 2014. Prior to that, they attended the Transportation Safety Institute, Aviation Safety Division, where they obtained several certificate programs in Safety Management Systems, System Safety, Internal Evaluation Program, and Auditor, which they completed from 2004 to 2012. Lastly, they earned a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering from Pennsylvania State University, which they obtained from 1973 to 1977.
