Maya Sutton

Maya Sutton has a diverse work experience in the banking industry. Maya is currently serving as the SVP - Audit & Compliance at both The American Deposit Management Company and AmeriNat since 2023. Prior to that, they were the Compliance Manager at Westbury Bank from 2018 to 2023. Maya worked as a Compliance Auditor at Commerce State Bank from 2016 to 2018 and as a Branch Operations Supervisor at Wisconsin Bank & Trust from 2014 to 2016. Before that, they held roles such as Assistant Vice President and Market Manager at Town Bank, Lobby Manager and Banking Officer at Prosperity Bank, Teller Supervisor at First National Bank of Edinburgh, Licensed Personal Banker at Wells Fargo, and Licensed Personal Banker at Guaranty Bank.

Maya Sutton attended the University of Minnesota from 1994 to 2001, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree. During their time at the university, they focused on Political Science as their major and also pursued a minor in Foreign Studies. In 1999, they participated in a Study Abroad program in Freiburg, Germany with the International Education of Students. Their studies abroad included a focus on German and Political Science.
