Todd Cowan

Todd Cowan has extensive experience in sales and distribution within the insurance and financial services industries. Currently serving as National Sales Director at Ameritas since April 2017, Todd previously held the position of Regional Managing Director. Prior to joining Ameritas, Todd Cowan spent over two decades at HealthPlan Services, culminating as Senior Vice President of Sales, Installation, and Account Management. In this role, oversight included proprietary sales programs for fully insured accident and health, voluntary, and worksite markets. Todd also held various leadership positions at HealthPlan Services, including Vice President of Affinity Sales and Director of Sales and Member Retention, where responsibilities encompassed developing distribution channels and executing sales initiatives. Educated at the University of South Florida with a BA in Management and further credentials from The Tuck School of Business and The American College of Financial Services, Todd Cowan is highly qualified in organizational leadership and employee benefits.
