Mike Herlihy

Mike Herlihy is the Owner and Executive Vice President of Ames & Gough, an insurance broker specializing in various professional liability insurance sectors, including those for architects, engineers, and law firms, since September 1999. Mike oversees the Quincy office, managing over 450 clients across New England, New York, the Midwest, and California. Previous to this role, Mike held the position of Senior Vice President at Lexington Insurance Company from January 1982 to September 1999, where responsibilities included leading the Professional Liability Division and overseeing underwriting for multiple liability insurance categories. Mike is a Boston College alumnus who completed studies there from 1973 to 1977.
