Gene Forrester has a strong background in operations and management roles. Gene most recently worked at AMETEK MRO, starting in April 2021 as a Continuous Improvement Manager before progressing to become Director, Continuous Improvement, North America. Gene then served as the Director of Operations before being promoted to Divisional Vice President and Business Manager, a role they currently hold. Prior to AMETEK MRO, Gene worked at Hubbell Incorporated as a Sr. Operations Manager HGCA from January 2018 to March 2021. Gene also has experience as an Operations Manager at Kohler Co. from December 2015 to January 2018, where they oversaw production and plant operations. Earlier in their career, Gene worked at Continental Industries, a Division of Burndy LLC as a Value Stream Manager, Buyer, and Production Lead. Gene also gained experience as a Repair Lead at Caterpillar Logistics Inc. and as a Communications Intern at KTUL News Channel 8.
Gene Forrester began their education in 2005 at Spartan College of Aeronautics and Technology, where they pursued an Associate of Applied Science in Communications Technology. Gene continued their studies at the same institution and completed a Bachelor of Science in Aviation and Technology Management between 2007 and 2009. Following this, Gene Forrester attended Northeastern State University from 2010 to 2012, where they obtained a Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a focus on Business Administration and Management, General.
In addition to their formal education, Gene Forrester has obtained several certifications. These include a Lean Six Sigma Black Belt from Aveta Business Institute in November 2021. Gene has also earned a Black Belt Operational Excellence from AMETEK, a Certificate of Achievement- ISO 9001:2008 Internal Auditor from Oklahoma State University, a Certificate of Completion- Introduction to Programming and Coding for Everyone with JavaScript from Gogo Training, Inc., and a Certificate of Completion- Project Management Training from JP Stewart Associates. Furthermore, Gene Forrester holds a Six Sigma Green Belt from Handy & Harman Ltd. (formerly WHX Corporation).
