Stuart Tomlinson

Stuart Tomlinson currently serves as Vice President of Operations Excellence at AMETEK, having joined in September 2023. Prior to this, Stuart held the position of Vice President of Operations Strategy and Continuous Improvement at Howden from July 2008 to April 2023, where responsibilities included overseeing a $500 million operations and supply chain strategy across the Americas, significantly enhancing safety metrics and operational efficiency, leading M&A integrations, and managing critical initiatives during the COVID-19 pandemic. Additionally, Stuart's earlier roles at Howden included General Manager/Plant Manager and Director of the Colfax Business System, where achievements encompassed full P&L accountability and driving lean culture across global manufacturing facilities. Prior experience at Hamworthy Combustion involved various managerial and engineering positions, supported by a strong educational background with degrees from Bournemouth University in DMS and HNC Mechanical Engineering.
