Derek Chapman

Derek Chapman is an experienced Software Engineer with a strong background in software development and integration, currently employed at AMEWAS, Inc. since October 2018. Previously, Derek served in a similar role at Northrop Grumman from March 2013 to September 2018, where responsibilities included designing and developing features for a real-time Mission Planning Environment, integrating legacy algorithms with modern code bases, and implementing new GUI features using Microsoft WPF technologies. Derek's expertise encompasses all phases of the software development life cycle, including sprint planning and bug analysis, as well as enhancing code quality through unit testing and regression testing. Derek holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science from California State University, Long Beach, earned in 2012.
