Armina Abbasi

Armina Abbasi is a Principal Scientist at Amgen, with a career spanning from 2021 to the present, previously serving as a Senior Scientist and Scientist within the same organization. Prior experience includes a role as a Research Assistant at Washington State University from January 2017 to January 2021, where Armina conducted ADME and pharmacokinetic studies, developing kinetic assays and utilizing modeling and simulation techniques primarily on the Mathematica software platform. Additionally, Armina worked as a Teaching Assistant, leading pre-lab lectures and hands-on organic chemistry labs. A summer internship in 2020 at Amgen focused on implementing modeling and simulation skills to study siRNA-Ago2 bioactivation. Armina holds a PhD in Chemistry from Washington State University and a Bachelor's degree in Polymer Engineering from Amirkabir University of Technology - Tehran Polytechnic.
