Paula Cabrera

Paula Cabrera is an accomplished clinical development professional with extensive experience in immuno-oncology and regulatory compliance. Currently serving as the Immuno-Oncology Team Lead for Global Clinical Development at Amgen since June 2019, Paula leads clinical strategies and oversees multiple assets within the company's pipeline. Prior to this role, Paula worked as a Global Early Clinical Development Manager in oncology at Amgen and as a Senior Program Manager at UCLA's Jonsson Comprehensive Cancer Center, managing various complex clinical trials, including innovative cell and gene therapies. With a solid foundation in scientific research from a postgraduate position at the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA and experience as a Senior Scientist at QIAGEN, Paula has demonstrated expertise in project management, regulatory submissions, and the advancement of clinical programs across diverse oncology-related initiatives. Paula holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Immunology from the University of Buenos Aires and has completed postdoctoral training at UCLA.
