Roland Wu, MD, is a seasoned medical professional with extensive experience in both clinical and research settings. Currently serving as a Senior Principal Scientist at Amgen since 2020, Roland previously held the position of Principal Scientist at the same organization. Prior to this role, significant academic contributions were made at UCSF Medical Center from 2014 to 2020 as an Assistant Clinical Professor and Clinical Instructor. Roland completed a Cardiology Fellowship at the University of California, San Francisco from 2010 to 2014 and conducted postdoctoral research at Columbia University Irving Medical Center from 2006 to 2010. Roland began training as a Resident Physician at UT Southwestern Medical Center from 2003 to 2006. Education includes an MD in Medicine from Cornell University and The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston (UTHealth Houston).
