Larissa McNeal is an accomplished educator with extensive experience in science teaching and curriculum development. Currently serving as a High School Science Teacher for Amherst Exempted Village Schools since August 2020, Larissa previously worked as a Secondary Physical Science Teacher at Cleveland Metropolitan School District from August 2015 to May 2020, where responsibilities included creating lesson plans for 9th grade physical science and 11th grade chemistry curricula. Larissa has also contributed as a Physical Therapy Volunteer at MetroHealth, a Professional Development Fellow at Denison University, and held various internships at Cleveland Clinic and Case Western Reserve Medical School, gaining valuable clinical experience across multiple medical specialties. Larissa holds a Bachelor of Arts in Chemistry and Spanish from Denison University, a Post-Baccalaureate in Pre-Physical Therapy Studies from Cleveland State University, and a high school diploma from Lorain High.
