Jeff Shields

Jeff Shields, FASAE, CAE, currently serves as the CEO and President of NBOA: Business Leadership for Independent Schools, leading a team of 19 and reporting to a 22-member Board of Directors since March 2010. Shields is also a member of the Board of Trustees for The Enrollment Management Association and currently holds a Board Member position with AMHIC, A Reciprocal Association. Previously, Shields served on the Board of Directors for ASAE: The Center for Association Leadership, contributing to strategic enhancements for the association community. With prior experience at NACUBO as SVP/Chief Planning Officer and various roles at Booz Allen Hamilton and the National Association of Home Builders, Shields possesses a strong background in strategic planning and leadership development. Shields holds a Master's degree in Educational Policy and Leadership from The Ohio State University and a Bachelor's degree in Communication Journalism from Shippensburg University of Pennsylvania.
