Elizabeth Nehrling Sotiriou serves as the Managing Attorney for Detention Programs at The Immigration Project since May 2022 and has been a Consulting Attorney and Managing Attorney for the Detained Children's Program at Amica Center for Immigrant Rights since August 2016. Prior experience includes working as an Immigration Staff Attorney and Sumner M. Redstone Fellow at Ayuda, as well as legal internships at Centro de los Derechos del Migrante, the U.S. Department of Justice, and various human rights clinics at Harvard Law School. Elizabeth holds a Doctor of Law (JD) from Harvard Law School, a Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Migration, Mobility and Development from SOAS University of London, and a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in International Relations from American University.
