Isabel Cervantes

Isabel Cervantes currently serves as a Staff Attorney at the Capital Area Immigrants' Rights (CAIR) Coalition since September 2023. Previously, Isabel held multiple positions at the Consejo de la Judicatura Federal in Mexico, including Secretaria de Apoyo B, where Isabel became the youngest woman to occupy this Deputy Director-equivalent role. Isabel started as an Analista Especializada and developed a keen interest in Constitutional and Human Rights Law. Isabel also served as Legal Manager at Defrak Integrated Services, overseeing legal agreements while completing a law degree. Early career experience includes a legal internship at Alanís, Serrano y Doblado, S.C. Isabel holds a Master of Laws (LLM) from Georgetown University and a Law degree from Universidad Iberoamericana, Ciudad de México.
