Heather Ramirez

Heather Ramirez has extensive work experience in the legal field. Their most recent role was as Vice President, Legal at Amicus Therapeutics, starting in July 2021. Prior to that, they held the position of Executive Director, Lead Counsel US at the same company from September 2018 to July 2021. Before joining Amicus Therapeutics, Heather worked at Novo Nordisk, where they held various roles including Sr. Corporate Counsel, Corporate Counsel, Counsel, and Sr. Attorney from November 2011 to September 2018. Heather also has experience as Counsel at Abbott Laboratories from August 2009 to October 2011. Earlier in their career, Heather worked as an Associate at Wiley Rein LLP from September 2004 to July 2009 and as a Quality Assurance Engineer at CR Bard from July 1998 to August 2001.

Heather Ramirez attended Penn State University from 1994 to 1998, earning a BS degree in Biochemistry & Molecular Biology. Heather then pursued their JD degree at Emory University School of Law from 2001 to 2004.
