Muzammil Mustufa

Muzammil Mustufa has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Muzammil began their career as an Analyst at D. E. Shaw & Co. in 2004. After that, they joined The Frankel Group as an Associate and worked their way up to Senior Consultant, formulating strategic recommendations for pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies.

In 2011, Muzammil joined GSK, where they held various roles, including Manager of Strategic Business Analysis, Launch Optimization & Business Development Lead, and Marketing Director for Mepolizumab Strategy. Muzammil focused on bringing valuable medicines to the market, with a significant emphasis on Immunology and Rare Disease.

Since 2015, Muzammil has been with Amicus Therapeutics, where they have held several leadership positions. Muzammil started as Director of Commercial Operations and subsequently served as Fabry Lead, Senior Director of Global Marketing, Executive Director of Global Marketing, and Interim Head of Global Marketing & Meeting Planning. Most recently, they have been Vice President and Head of Global Marketing & Commercial Planning. In October 2021, they also took on the role of Vice President of Corporate Strategy.

Muzammil's expertise lies in strategic planning, marketing, commercial operations, business development, and launch optimization. Muzammil has gained significant experience in the pharmaceutical and biotechnology industries, spanning the entire value chain from early-stage R&D to in-line marketing.

Muzammil Mustufa attended Tufts University from 2000 to 2004, where they earned a degree in Quantitative Economics and Chemistry.
