Rachel Markowitz

Rachel Markowitz is an experienced professional in program management and international relations, currently serving as a Senior Program Manager at Amideast since September 2015, where responsibilities include alumni development and overseeing the Kennedy-Lugar Youth Exchange and Study (YES) Program. Prior roles include Senior Program Officer for the YES Program at the Armed Conflict Location & Event Data Project (ACLED) and research-focused positions in various organizations, including Search for Common Ground and the US House of Representatives. Rachel holds a Master’s degree in Global Policy Studies and a Bachelor of Arts in Government and Politics from the University of Texas at Austin and the University of Texas at Dallas, respectively, complemented by an International Baccalaureate from UWC-USA.
