Alon Faitelis

Alon Faitelis is an experienced professional currently serving as a Grants Officer at the Alberta Machine Intelligence Institute since May 2023. Previously, Alon worked as a Consultant at Summa Strategies Canada, where support was provided to various Canadian and multinational clients in sectors such as tech, finance, and not-for-profit, with a focus on government relations services. Alon has held multiple roles in research and outreach, including Director of Outreach at the Global Risk Observatory, where an outreach strategy was successfully revised to enhance collaboration with industry partners. Alon has co-authored publications on global migration risks and the Nile River conflict, and has significant international experience with the IOM - UN Migration and as a research assistant at prestigious institutions like the University of Toronto and McGill University. Alon holds a Master’s degree in Global Affairs from the University of Toronto and a Bachelor's degree in History and Jewish Studies from McGill University.
