Alejandro Mandrión Moreno has a diverse and extensive work experience in the field of product design. Alejandro is currently working as a Principal Product Designer at Amina Charging since November 2022. Prior to this, they worked at Laerdal Medical from December 2019 until April 2022, where they held the roles of Product Designer II and Product Designer. In this position, Alejandro collaborated with RQI Partners on the development of simulation stations and led the design of a new range of products for training healthcare responders.
In 2018, Alejandro worked as an Industrial Designer at STARCK, where they created concept proposals for furniture and retail installation pieces, collaborating with renowned brands such as Kartell, Flos, Luxottica, and Parrot. Before that, they were employed at Veryday, now known as McKinsey Design, as a Product Designer from August 2017 to January 2018. In 2015, Alejandro gained valuable experience as a Product Innovation Intern at SEAT, S.A., where they contributed to the conceptualization and development of SEAT's innovation roadmaps and e-Mobility projects. Alejandro Mandrión Moreno earned a Master of Fine Arts (MFA) in Advanced Product Design from Umeå Institute of Design, where they studied from 2016 to 2019. Prior to that, they completed their Engineer's degree in Industrial Design Engineering and Product Development at Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya from 2011 to 2015. Additionally, Alejandro obtained several certifications, including Foundations of User Experience (UX) Design from Google in February 2023, Business Model Innovation from HEC Paris in March 2021, and a Certificate in Advanced English from Cambridge English Language Assessment in December 2015.
