Karen Javorski

Karen Javorski is an experienced human rights professional currently serving as the Manager of Mobilization & Movement Engagement at Amnesty International Canada, where responsibilities include leading a team of 14 and overseeing the development of impactful human rights campaigns. Previously, Karen worked at Amnesty International in various roles, including Campaigner for Individuals at Risk in the Americas and International Human Rights Education Programme Coordinator, focusing on strategic casework and the promotion of human rights education. Additional experience includes research roles at the UCL Institute for Human Rights and a human rights fellowship in Nicaragua, along with a Master of Arts in Human Rights from UCL and a Bachelor of Arts in International Development and Spanish from Dalhousie University.
