Sacha Deshmukh has extensive experience in leadership and executive roles. Sacha is currently the Chief Executive of Amnesty International UK, where they oversee policy and campaigning activities on global human rights issues. Previously, they served as the Chief Executive (Executive Director) of Unicef UK and the Chair of the Board for War Child UK, a charity providing support to children affected by war. Sacha also has experience in the energy sector as the Chief Executive of Smart Energy GB, leading a national public engagement campaign. In addition, they have held positions as a Non Executive Director for The Fundraising Regulator and Children in Conflict, and as the Deputy Chair and Trustee for Citizens Advice. Sacha has also been involved in various inquiries and initiatives related to senior executive pay and strategic planning.

From 1993 to 1997, they pursued a Bachelor of Arts in Social & Political Sciences at Corpus Christi College Cambridge. Sacha later completed a Master of Philosophy in International Relations and Affairs at the same institution in 1996-1997. Lastly, Sacha Deshmukh enrolled at the College of Law of England & Wales from 2006 to 2008, completing the Common Practitioners Examination (GDL) with a focus on English Law.
