Joe McGinley, MBA, CCUE has a strong background in finance and banking with extensive experience in various leadership roles. Joe is currently serving as the VP of Finance at AMOCO Federal Credit Union. Prior to this, Joe worked at BNY Mellon as a Financial Controller, where they played a crucial role in the LIBOR transition project by developing tracking mechanisms, analyzing project costs, and forecasting project expenditures. Joe also worked closely with project leads and heads of all lines of business to forecast budgets and variances.
Before joining BNY Mellon, Joe served as the Chief Financial Officer at Railroad & Industrial Federal Credit Union and as the Vice President of Finance at McCoy Federal Credit Union. In their role at Railroad & Industrial Federal Credit Union, they played a key role in managing the financial operations of the organization. At McCoy Federal Credit Union, Joe was responsible for overseeing the financial functions and providing strategic financial guidance.
Joe has also held positions at Federal Trust Bank, BMO Harris Bank, and Army Aviation Center Federal Credit Union, where they served as the Assistant Controller, Regional Controller, and Vice President of Financial Services respectively.

Joe McGinley earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance from the University of Central Florida in 1990. Joe then pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Business Administration from the same university, completing it in 1999. In 2017, Joe obtained a further credential, a specialized degree in Credit Union Management (CCUE), from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Additionally, they also completed an Executive MBA program in Business Administration and Management from the University of Central Florida between 1997 and 1999.
