Amanda Blake currently serves as the Director of Education, Library, and Visitor Experience at the Amon Carter Museum since January 2018. Previously, Amanda held multiple roles at the Dallas Museum of Art from September 2006 to December 2017, culminating in the position of Interim Director of Education. Earlier experience includes roles at the University of North Texas, where Amanda was a Collection, Research, and Teaching Assistant, and at the Nasher Sculpture Center as an Art Activity Supervisor. Amanda's career began at the Wichita Art Museum as an Education Project Manager. Educational qualifications include a Master of Arts in Art History and a Graduate Certification in Art Museum Education from the University of North Texas, as well as a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Fine and Studio Arts and Art History from Oklahoma State University.
