Jane Thaler

Jane Thaler currently serves as the Associate Registrar for Data Management at the Amon Carter Museum and as a Maker Programs Educator at the Perot Museum of Nature and Science. With a strong academic foundation, Jane holds a Ph.D. in Information Culture and Data Stewardship from the University of Pittsburgh, where experiences also included roles as a Graduate Student Researcher and Graduate Teaching Assistant. Jane's professional background features positions at the Carnegie Museum of Natural History, ArtHyve, and various universities, focusing on education, data management, and archival administration. Notable achievements include promoting from Gallery Experience Presenter I to Team Lead at the Carnegie Museum and serving as a Project Archivist at the University of Colorado. Academic credentials also encompass a Master of Library & Information Science from the University of Denver and a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Colorado Denver.
