Jaya Marks

Jaya Marks has extensive work experience in various roles and industries. In 2013, they founded Canopy, Inc. and served as the CEO, overseeing a team and securing seed capital. From 2014 to 2016, Jaya worked as a Lead Electrical and Software Engineer at Zero Gravity Automation Systems, where they replaced automation systems for sensory deprivation tanks. Jaya also co-authored a distributed payment ledger at Fluency and served as a System Architect. From 2018 to 2020, Jaya was a Lead Software Engineer and System Architect at Gaudiya Kirtan, where they led a team in designing and building a successful app for preserving traditional Indian songs. Jaya served as the Chief Editor of Rays of The Harmonist from 2007 to 2020, where they managed the publication and trained other editors. Jaya worked as a System Architect at Particle Editor from 2020 to 2021, building a software development environment. Jaya worked as a Big Data Engineer at Medical Transcription Services in 2021, designing and building a processing pipeline for large datasets. In 2022, they worked as a System Architect for Financial Reporting Tools at Supercuts, designing and building a financial reporting tool. Currently, Jaya is a Sr. Full Stack Engineer at Amount.

Jaya Marks attended the University of California, Santa Cruz from 2000 to 2002, where they studied Mathematics and Computer Science, as well as Physics. From 2003 to 2006, they studied Vedanta & Community Development at Bhakti Bangalore. Later, from 2006 to 2010, Jaya attended Sri Keshavaji Gaudiya Matha, focusing on Vedanta & Advanced Bhakti-yoga.
