Jaya Marks attended the University of California, Santa Cruz from 2000 to 2002, where they studied Mathematics and Computer Science, as well as Physics. From 2003 to 2006, they studied Vedanta & Community Development at Bhakti Bangalore. Later, from 2006 to 2010, Jaya attended Sri Keshavaji Gaudiya Matha, focusing on Vedanta & Advanced Bhakti-yoga.
