Juan Castaño

Juan Castañeda is a seasoned data professional with extensive experience in data science, analytics, and research methodologies. Currently serving as Principal Data Scientist/Architect at The Harris Center for Mental Health and IDD since August 2015, Juan leads a team focused on data-ops solutions, business intelligence, and executive reporting. Previous roles include Data Science & B.I. Architect, where Juan integrated and modeled data across business divisions, and Statistical Outcomes Analyst, responsible for data mining and applying statistical models to improve patient services. Prior to this, Juan worked as a Social Science Research & Statistics Consultant and held various research positions at the University of Houston, where projects included public health survey management and educational intervention analysis. Juan holds degrees from the University of Houston and SUNY Brockport.
