Laura Albretsen

Laura Albretsen is a controller at Amplēo who specializes in streamlining accounting and operations procedures for increased efficiencies. She brings over fifteen years of accounting experience in firms ranging from small family offices to multinational corporations across diverse industries including real estate, retail, marketing, and venture capital. She is highly organized with an eye for catching financial anomalies and understands the challenges and processes of growing a business and improving efficiencies. Her specialties include auditing, payroll, accounts payable, accounts receivable, reconciliations, month-end close, general ledger, and financial reporting.

Before becoming a consultant at Amplēo in 2018, Laura worked several years as a senior accountant at a marketing company and a small family finance company which included handling all aspects of accounting and human resources. Her biggest achievement has been helping companies maximize their profitability with improved operations and minimizing expenses.
