Edgar Tovias

Edgar Tovias, MSA, currently serves as an Accounting Manager at Amplify Energy Corp since November 2023. With extensive experience in accounting and leadership, Tovias has held various roles at EnerVest, Ltd., including Senior Accounting Manager, Business Analyst, Production Accounting Supervisor, and Production Accountant from August 2013 to November 2023. In addition to this, Tovias has been a Platoon Sergeant in the United States Marine Corps since 2005, demonstrating strong leadership skills. Earlier career experience includes serving as Leadman at Trelleborg from June 2008 to July 2013. Tovias holds a Master’s Degree in Accounting from the University of Houston, earned between 2014 and 2016, and a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from the University of Houston-Downtown, completed in 2012.
