Hubert Frédéric Arokium

Hubert Frédéric Arokium, PhD, serves as a Senior Scientist at AmplifyBio since May 2023. Previously, Hubert held the position of Associate Group Leader/Manager at PPD from 2020 to 2022, where responsibilities included managing a bioanalytical team for gene therapy clinical programs and ensuring data quality from ddPCR or qPCR methods. From 2017 to 2019, Hubert was a Senior Scientist/Team Lead at Tolero Pharmaceuticals, focusing on early drug discovery in oncology, including assay development and target validation for cancer drugs. Hubert's career began at UCLA from 2007 to 2016, progressing from Postdoctoral Scholar to Junior Faculty - Assistant Researcher, with significant contributions to DNA amplification for high throughput sequencing and research on HIV's impact on hematopoiesis. Educationally, Hubert earned a Ph.D. in Biological and Medical Sciences, as well as Master's and Bachelor's degrees in Cell Biology and Physiology, all from Université de Bordeaux.
