Daniel Cortez has worked in the field of multimedia design since 2018. Daniel began their career as a Graphic Designer at the University of California, Santa Cruz, where they collaborated with developer teams and managed a variety of cross-media projects. In 2020, they took on the role of UI/UX Designer Intern at Open Water Accelerator, where they were responsible for user research, UI Design, and prototyping. Later that year, they began working as a Web Interface Designer for ABÁ MGT, where they designed dynamic web sites and pages for the company and its clients. Currently, Daniel is working as a Multimedia Designer and Intern Graphic Designer at bp pulse fleet (formerly AMPLY Power).
Daniel Cortez began their educational journey in 2016 when they attended San Jose City College, where they earned an Associate's degree in Liberal Arts and Sciences/Liberal Studies and a Certificate Achievement Level 2 in Computer Programming. In 2017, they continued their studies at the University of California, Santa Cruz, where they completed a Bachelor's of Arts in Computer Science. In 2018, they enrolled at Foothill College and earned an Associate of Arts - AA in Graphic Design, a Certificate Achievement Graphic Design Skills, and a Certificate Archivement in Web Developer & Design. In 2020, they completed all of their studies at Foothill College.
