Tracee Fukunaga has worked in a variety of roles since 2014. Tracee began as a Summer Research Intern at Pacific International Space Center for Exploration Systems (PISCES) in 2014. Tracee then moved on to become a Gas Geochemistry Intern at U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) Hawaiian Volcano Observatory in 2015. That same year, they also worked as a Research Assistant at Global Health Network (University of Rochester Global Health and Technology). In 2016, they worked as a Renewable Energy Intern and Renewable Energy Administrator at Hawaii Electric Light Company. In 2021, they became a Project Analyst at SunPower Corporation, and they currently hold the same role at AMPLY Power, Inc.
Tracee Fukunaga has a Master of Engineering (MEng) in Environmental Engineering from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, which they are expected to complete in 2022. Tracee also holds a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Chemical Engineering from the University of Rochester, which they completed in 2016. In 2015, they participated in a Study Abroad Program in Chemical Engineering at the University of Auckland. Tracee has also obtained several certifications, including the Project Management Mastery Certification from Sitetracker (2022), the Engineer In Training certification from the California Board of Professional Engineers, Land Surveyors, and Geologists (2022), and the Spring 2022 TechWomen Mentors certification from TechWomen (2022).
