R'Sue Caron has worked in the field of Intellectual Property for over 20 years. R'Sue began their career in 1991 as a Senior Analytical Engineer at Intel Corp, where they developed a particle analysis program and managed a multi-user metallography and SEM laboratories. In 2000, they joined Knobbe Martens Olson & Bear LLP as a Patent Scientist, where they drafted more than 20 non-provisional patent applications and managed dockets for major and smaller clients. In 2002, they worked as a Patent Agent at Nanomix, creating and directing the in-house IP program and filing more than 20 provisional and non-provisional patent applications. R'Sue then moved to The Clorox Company in 2003, where they advised scientists in identifying patentable and valuable inventions, conducted patent searches, and wrote and filed patent applications. In 2005, they joined Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory as a Patent Agent, managing a docket of more than 200 inventions and designing and presenting patent teaching materials. R'Sue then moved to Seeo, Inc. in 2008, where they created and directed an in-house IP program, filing more than 30 provisional and non-provisional patent applications in polymer electrolyte materials and lithium cell architecture in both US and PCT. In 2011, they joined Amprius Inc. as a Patent Manager and Caron IP as a Principal.
R'Sue Caron obtained a BA in Physics from Connecticut College, an MS in Radiological Sciences from the University of Washington, and a PhD in Materials Science from the University of California, Berkeley.
