Michael Breslaw

Michael Breslaw currently serves as the Consents Manager at AMPYR Solar Europe, a position held since July 2023. Prior experience includes a role as Senior Planner at Barton Willmore (now Stantec) from June 2022 to July 2023, where expertise was provided in planning consultancy for infrastructure and energy projects across the UK. Michael led the Infrastructure sector for the West of England Combined Authority from January 2020 to May 2022, responsible for developing the region's strategic infrastructure plan. Earlier, as an Executive Officer at The Planning Inspectorate from October 2017 to December 2020, leadership was demonstrated in producing planning advice on Nationally Significant Infrastructure Projects and Town and Country Planning Act applications. A background as a Geologist at Terrafirma Search from October 2016 to August 2017 involved risk assessment related to mining hazards impacting the built environment. Michael holds a Bachelor's degree in Geology/Earth Science from the University of Bristol, obtained from 2013 to 2016.
