Esther Matu

Esther Matu is an experienced medical professional currently serving as an Inflight Doctor at AMREF Flying Doctors since August 2018, where responsibilities include ensuring the timely and safe evacuation of critically ill patients and providing emergency medical interventions during transport. Concurrently, Esther works as a Medical Officer in the Critical Care Unit at The Nairobi Hospital, delivering day-to-day care for ICU patients and responding to emergencies throughout the facility. Prior roles include Internal Medicine Resident at the University of Nairobi-Kenyatta National Hospital, Medical Officer at The Nairobi Hospital's Accident and Emergency department, and Medical Intern at Mama Lucy Kibaki Hospital.
